When I was driving my trucks through Eastern Turkey during the winter where temperatures drop to -50c I used to put 25 litres of petrol and 75 litres diesel per 100 litres. This was enough to keep the fule fluid whilst driving but overnight the fuel lines and filter were always gelled up, a nightmare doing that route in the Winter.

I might also add that when the fuel strike was on and diesel was in short supply I put a fair amount of 2 star to what diesel I had and added some oil to get me from Knutsford Services to Bristol.
