Default Kudos to Halfords.

Bought a Bosch battery from Halfords four and a half years ago, and it finally died yesterday.
Returned it with my proof of purchase and 5yr guarantee today and walked out the store with a brand new, "like for like" replacement FOC.
Well pleased !

Kevin.

Nice one. They will simply send it back to Bosch for a refund/exchange but even so it's a nice win for you as they didn't argue with you about it.

Fantastic to see they held the warranty. Not a bad life for a battery, but the original Delphi batteries could last up to ten years.

4.5 years,I'd be quite happy with that. The last couple of batteries I've bought have only had 3year guarantees.I distinctly remember that when they failed,I'd rush upstairs to get the guarantee, only to find that it had uncannily expired just days previously
