Blimey, that was quick!

I read that ex-MGR garages were supplied with stocks which probably never got used. If anybody needs a set, they should ring around.
Rimmer's site is still quoting them at £3 or so. Maybe worth keeping an eye out though.

Looks like I'll have to try Rimmers even though they doubled their price !

Thats £10.50 for delivery ,but they seem to be the only people in the country to have any in stock

There are plenty of these Spring Retention Devices (ie protectors) around

Just pop the old part number into this search engine:

http://www.thepart.com/en/search/

and see which is your nearest X Part dealer who has them in stock. Cost £2.65 + VAT.

Luffield cars in loughborough they have 8 left.
