who else has one of these fitted in there steering wheel
Just wondering as never seen one on another car or even what its supposed to do

It's a steering wheel vibration absorber - fitted to the early automatic diesels.

My walnut steering wheel came with one fitted,gave it to a diesel owner to lessen his wheel vibrating.

Damper
I retro fitted on to my Connie, the steering wheels have the screw holes ready. The dampers are a difficult item to buy.
