Thanks for the kind words folks, very much appreciated (run out of "thanks" at the 'mo). So relieved to have her all back together and not have to stress about losing any bits or bobs from the shed .
A very tidy looking 'bay, and testament to what can be achieved with a little effort. Cliff

Jaw dropping, the lengths you go to Cliff, I'm in awe
I'm just happy if the engine runs, let alone cleaning it!

Fabulous!
We have a few 'pool cars' in work, one is a 2012 diesel Astra with 95k on it. I think Im the only person who ever washes them! The engine bay looked like it had been in the Sahara. Just a quick blast with TFR and the pressure washer made it about a million times better looking. Did my own car with Autoglym machine cleaner at the weekend. |

This looks great!
What did you take the engine out for? So you left gearbox and sub frame in place and separated the box in the engine bay and lifted the engine out from the top? My ZT v6 needs the cam belts and also the clutch changing. So I am thinking of taking the engine out. I was hoping not to remove the sub frame, and to pull it out the top. |

Looks really tidy, but I rarely use a pressure washer under the bonnet, hear too many stories of people subsequently having electronic gremlin's due to water getting into connectors . Water once into the wiring loom is virtually impossible to eradicate
