Hi John it does not look like that I will make Sunday after all I can't tell you how disappointed that Lilian and I are but I am still very wobbly on my legs and its not worth to take the risk of having another fall

Please could give Gatekeeper my apologies I was. Looking forward to meeting up with him he is most welcome to pop in to see me if he can find time before he flies home give Lilian a buzz first

I had a visit from an assessor yesterday to see how I was getting on and she saw me walking with a stick and I was band from using it straight away they said it was an accident waiting to happen that I was not strong enough yet so it's back to the old Zimmer frame

Take that as a "slap on the hand" Derek, slow it down and make sure you are strong, you can ease up on the reliance of the frame, but it's good to have it there. See you soon,

Okay Derek, as they say you can`t run before you can walk, soon the Zimmer Frame if it makes you more stable on the old pins, it would seem you are making some progress as you can walk with the Zimmer. You can still get in the pub with a Zimmer you know and the Ely is all on the flat !!
Go steady, we will be talking about you on Sunday so look out for burning ears.
