Evening all, Just back from the hospital with Mam and she has broken her toe. It's been a cloudy day but the rain that was forecast never really arrived although it's been spitting with rain.

Great news about the P6 passing it's MOT Freddie. Nice one Sir.

Steak mash carrots/swede mash, onion gravy & broccoli for tea

Yeah you're right Steve, it's always a long wait at these places, your heart sinks when you see the length of the waiting time on the digital display when you walk in.

Cool

Shifted two boot loads of rubbish from the garden, been and bought 2 pairs of new shoes, fitted the new wheel centres to Redfive and just polished off the last of the Lamb casserole.
Kettle on for a nice evening cuppa.

In a bit of a quandry, some may have noticed my 1.8T disappeared from my profile a while ago. Still got it but it hadn't run for about two years. It needed work for the MOT but the heart attack intervened. I started it now and then but one day all I got on turning the key was a solid clunk, its sat ever since. Due to my health I couldn't build the enthusiasm to do anything with it. I had decided to move it on to Cossie Dunc, MGStephen and his mate arrived with a trailer to take it to Dunc but due to complications they couldn't take it. It was warm and sunny, that must have given me an energy boost because after they left I decided to have a look at it, a leaking IMG allowed coolant into number 4 cylinder causing it to hydro lock. Cleared the coolant, spare plug, fully charged battery, bit of persistence it started and after clearing its throat idled perfectly! Now considering getting it back on the road.
