Default Still knocking

Afternoon all
Last week I put new shocks , springs , top mounts and drop links on and this cured a knock I was getting on bumpy surfaces.
Today I changed the hydramount as I was still getting a knock when pressing and releasing the go peddle.
Just been round the block and the knock is still there.

It's like a metallic clunk and is there when braking at low speed or pressing and releasing the go peddle.

I cant feel any play in the lower bush or arm so am reluctant to change these unless it seems these are at fault.

Any pointers?

Stan

The lower engine mount, the engine might be swinging.

I was getting a bit of a clonk on pulling away. I though it must be the bottom engine mount. Without checking I bought a new one. However when I checked the existing mount it was in very good condition.--

I made a check of the lower suspension arm and found it was the rear rubber bush that was worn and that's where the clunk was coming from. I changed the arm and bush and all is now working fine.---

how about exhaust on crossbraces or rear antiroll bar mount. had this a couple of times due to weak hanger rubbers. worth a second look … nothing lost.

Defo not a loose wheel ,
Cant feel any play in the lower arm or bush
Exhaust is fine as it was repaired a couple of weeks ago after the hanger snapped
Not checked the caliper but is a good shout as when wifey heard the noise she said it sounds like something is getting caught and then releasing with a twang!!

Don't think I can get under today but will on thurs
