to sorn or not
Just a thought for you.
As it is getting to the end of the month and we are in lock down, consider sorning your car if you are not using it. We have 3 and I think I will sorn 1, I can always tax it if needed macafee2 |

Absolutely sensible. Being able to do it on-line instantly has saved me a lot of money over the years - used to tax 8 or more for the Show season - now I just do them for any months | am going to shows, then SORN. Also lucky that with the 40 year rolling tax-free status, I have a few which are already free. The ease of the system also means that if I rotate their use, they don't deteriorate too much.

Been thinking about it, particularly as one is diesel, and if we’re using any, it’s the petrol Note.
Not worth SORNing the JZR though, as it’s less than £2 a week.

I have sorned my show car (not a 75) as all meets cancelled for the foreseeable, and with routine journeys also classed as unnecessary it will just be backed out of the garage and put back again a few times, it costs £50+ a month in tax so worth saving

Really enjoyed your awesome picture gallery. (Used to own a Maroon Vauxhall Sporthatch with the droopsnoot and go faster stripes). Also quite intrigued by your show car costing £50/month tax! (Assume it's not BUG 1 lol!) |

I’m stuck in NZ and first mot on wife’s car is required on last day of March. I managed to send info to DVla about this issue. Got an acknowledgment but as yet no reply. Did I read somewhere they were considering given a short mot holiday?

Best to put it up on blocks and not move it at all.--That would also be far kinder to the car if the garage is good and dry.
