Grindring scratching noise when turning right

Hi everyone,
Lately I've noticed that when the car is cold there is a scratching grindring noise in the first sharp right turn that I take then it goes away for the rest of journey. It seems like it's coming from the left front. I tried taking sharp rights when the car has warmed up and the noise will not come back. Any ideas ?

I've had this on a totally different car, but just an idea.

The C.V. grease had gone almost solid, had the texture of soap!
A strip down, clean out and re-grease cured the problem.

I'm not saying this is the issue, but worth a look?

Have a look at your wheel arch liner and see if there are any rubbing marks on it, which may indicate contact with the wheel when turned to extreme angles.

Very odd that the noise goes away.--

Anything caught up or touching should on those right turns keep making the noise.

Over night it comes back. Going to be hard to find. Please keep us posted if you do find out what it is.---

Thanks for your replies there isn't anything rubbing I was thinking wheel bearing but then again why would it go away I'll lift the car and spin the wheel today give it a shake see what's up

Is the aircon on or off when it does it?

Have you checked the power steering fluid level?

Bearing grease can quickly warm up by capillary action from the rotor, lubricating a dry spot.

Sounds exactly like the problem I had with the CV joint.
Cheap to buy, easy to fix. Best way to see is look if the CV boot has been compromised.
