Coincidence this thread, i took the x-trail into local Nissan for recall on air bag, walked around showroom for 1 1/2 hrs. Looking at Juke had same thoughts as previous posts.Nothing streamline about it,just looks like a lump.
Just to add, also looked at Hyundai and Dacia showrooms next door, was aware that most of them were SUVs,and not a lot of difference to each other. Seems cars today are built for practicality rather than eye pleasing appeal. Also noticed how easy it is to buy a £10,000 new car for a small deposit. And put yourself in debt for the next 4 yrs.

You're sort of right about rolls Royce. If I remember correctly RR are owned by BMW and Bentley are owned by VAG. I do like the new Bentleys but I hate the RR styling. It just screams "look at me" Rolls Royce appear to be a bit more desirable than Bentley but they follow the same trend as BMW - having looked the exact same since 2004. As for the new buicks, they quite literally are rebadged vauxhall/opel/Holdens, but I quite like them. As for my nightmare car, it would have to be a new golf. They're not bad cars, they're just so dull. To quote Mr burns from the simpsons : "too cold and sterile. Where's the heart?"

Hahaha, kinda saw that coming...... Still each to our own, and my Golf is without a doubt the best car I've ever owned.

The Rolls looks like the brakes are not too good.

99.99 % of everything made in the last 15 years.
Most of it has as much driving appeal as the fridge or the washing machine. A mate lent me his AMG 6.3 Merc, he said drive it like you stole it as he was planning on selling it anyway. Yes it was amazingly fast and handled like it was on rails but after 20 or so miles I was bored, yes I could blast past almost everything on the road but I like my licence with no points and there is more too driving than just going fast in my view. |

Current cars anything from the USA. They just can’t make cars.
Older cars. Citroen Pluriel. Utterly pointless and ugly. Suzuki X-90. Utterly pointless and ugly.
