Default Brake master cylinder

Hello,

I'm trying to find a NEW brake master cylinder for my 2litre V6 manual. There appear to be none available in UK. I have, however, located such items available in Germany; specifically at Allbrit, which company I have used before. My problem is that they cite five variations and I don't know which is appropriate, Can someone provide the Part No. for my 2000 registered saloon, please?

Thanks in anticipation and regards,

Derek.

Thank you, X-Sport, for your response.

Currently Rimmers only have the version for the Tourer in stock. They can't give a date for the saloon version, beyond saying that new stock is expected. Hence my request for the relevant part number so that I can search further afield.

It is also possible to contact X-Part directly for clarification of part numbers. They can also check stock availability in European agents if none in the UK. I've found them quite helpful in the past.

Thank you XSport and Tracker for your replies.

I'm trying to help the garage, who are due to renew the whole braking system on Friday. The master cylinder is the only component they haven't been able to source. It may come down to a refurb kit, but there are still a few days to pursue the search. I will try XPart tomorrow.

For the record, at 85 and with balance and flexibility limitations, I daren't tackle anything under the car. I did, however, manage to replace the starter motor a few weeks ago, so I'm not entirely helpless.

A huge 'Thank you' to XSport for tracking down a brake master cylinder on my behalf. I shall know where to go for 'unobtanium' in the future.
Thanks Stefan.
