Mines registered as a 3 seater on the log book. My friend who is a mechanical engineer fitted seats in the back of his vito and contacted vosa about an inspection but was told it wasn't necessary and they would be checked on the next mot! He thought this was poor practice and asked them what if they were fitted incorrectly and an accident occurred in the meantime! They weren't interested in that though and his insurance company had no problem with it either.
