Evening all, it's been really mild here for this time of year, My backs been better today so I've been raking up fallen leaves in the drive.

Bangers & mash with cauliflower/carrots and green beans for tea.

Morning Phil, it's always nice to get something back from the utility companies
What does the water taste like at your new place? I always found the London area water to taste a lot different to the soft water we have here, especially in a cup o tea.
We had a depot in Harpenden when I was in transport and you had a job to get the soap to lather when you had a wash and the inside of their kettle was full of white chalky deposits.
I told them there would be rioting in the streets if the tea was like this up't north lol.
Good evening Ian, white chalky deposits in the kettle is still a problem with the London water and I sometimes wonder if it’s a contributing factor to people getting into trouble with the kidney stones etc, best not go there Have you been watching “Under the dome” on the Horror channel at 8pm, weekdays? I have been following it most nights and last night it was replaced with “The Invaders”.... not happy

Morning Phil, It was very strange the first time I encountered those white floaters in a cuppa One of the drivers there showed me a picture of his immersion heater he had replaced.
He cut the top off the tank & the electric heating element was totally encased in this white chalky deposit, very hard water there.

No I've not seen that program, I watch very little terrestrial TV these days especially since I cant wrestle the TV remote out of the missus hand any more

I've been watching some of those old 1950's Sci-Fi films on youtube lately, there are lots of those old 'B' movies on there, some so bad they're great lol.
