One plug that goes into a powerfold mirror

as request please guys perhaps one of the traders can help me ,I have a broken power fold mirror,it will work but once out you can push it back with just one finger it won't lock out I don't mind working on it but in the shed,i have in fact replaced all cogs winding gears, so wish to connect it up to a battery but indoors,needed just the small plug not the big one, thank you guys ---------GARY

Hi Gary, hope you are keeping well.

It will be a pleasure to help, I have a spare loom with plug one end and leads on the other so you can put it onto a battery and test.

Please pm me your address as I no longer have it due to cleaning out my inbox.

I changed the gears in a motor of mine last week but it still wouldnt work as my motor casing was worn as the worm gear had lateral movement and was not in mesh with the other gear, if you have this problem then a shim is needed on the end of the worm gear where it sits in the casing, this is mentioned at the end of my how to and shims can be obtained via Bernard at the 75 enthusiasts.
