I'm wondering if the seller meant that it left the factory with 5K of extras?

Paint - 2K

Sat-nav (Assuming it had it) 2k

Cruise + blind + CD changer + folding mirrors - another 1k?

That is what people would usually assume the seller means.

There are a few areas where it is worth being a little cautious as something feels a little strange with this one. The seller says that that the car is "superbly looked after!.. and well maintained a fantastic example of a top of the range 75 much credit to previous owners" which may suggest that he has not owned it all that long. Yet it has only covered about 1800 miles in the last 14 months.

If he has only owned it for about 15 months, I would wonder why it is being sold after less than 2k miles.

Just something to check as if I was buying a car like this, it would be as a long-term keeper to cherish.

I have never been a fan of the facelift, but when combined wth that premium bumper it looks very acceptable. Certainly worth a test drive and good look round. As for the price, its all down to how much you like the car when you sit in it. Its certainly not a terrible price for what looks in the photos like a very nice well cared for motor.

It is surely worth that price if you want it? if you buy a £6000 ford focus from a garage for example what is it worth next year if you wanted to trade it in £3000?

And that is the vital factor. Spending that much, you need to be committed for a long time a 75's for life, not just for xmas

It would be hard to find a more distinctive, luxury car for that type of money, if it really is as good as it sounds. If you spend any time in slow traffic, there's nothing like an auto. Treat yourself!

Thanks for your thoughts.
I went to see the car today and unfortunately I didn't think that I could live with the colour so it was thank you but no thank you.
I drove the car and the automatic was superb.

He had actually only owned the car since October 2017. Long story...but I couldn't live with the colour so I didn't buy it
