No issues re corrosion over here but cooling systems need sorting.
Read a bit about 220s owners who still have them running so not all kv6 seem to blow.
Reading further, seems back in the day, the kv6 issues that did happen , Sprintex blamed non factory setups as the problem not so much the engine itself.
Seems Sprintex are still in business here but not sure if they still carry parts.

A couple of years ago spent a month reading everything I could about it and back then I read that sprintex would not touch the things. They did not want the liability.

Called Sprintex, very knowledgable people!!
Spoke re durability, engine wear etc .
In the day they sent their guys to Mg Rover to work with Mg Rovers engineers and thus the supercharged version was born.
The guy I spoke to reckons they have had a few supercharged Mgzt s come through there shop for servicing, most 100,000km plus, all still running.
He reckons the engine issues that occurred on a few of the cars were related more to do with customer misuse than anything else.
He stated the Kv6 engine is well and truely capable of producing 220 bhp reliably
as long as the supercharger is setup correctly
He also stated that all the ones they have serviced have been in great condition for the mileage they had done.
They do not make the complete units anymore but can service, complete rebuild etc then for under 1k Aud.
He reckons the supercharged version has heaps of low/ mid torque and is a pretty quick car all round!!!
Oh if I had the time !!!

Been for sale a while now, two tone grey colour, little bit of danage to the rear bumper.
If i didnt have so much stuff on project wise id buy it.
Think all the talk about the super chargers blowing up has scared punters from buying it.
As nentioned, i called Sprintex and they still stand by the technology and reckoned any that blew were more to do with incorrect setup and consumer
misuse rather that a faulty system.
