It does, I guess it depends on where you buy it?

We've got quite a bit of refurbished or second hand stuff. There's a chap that buys white goods cleans /refurbs them and then sells them with a warranty. We bought a washing machine off him 5 years ago for £100 still going strong as is the tumble dryer (£50).

If went new I'd go two ways, cheap end of line stuff or a proper place that knew their stuff like richer sounds.

No. I should have known better. I was guilty of the very thing I have noticed in other threads in the past regarding Sean, that the issue gets blurred and somehow buried. All too easy to go off on a tangent and forget the real reason the thread was started in the first place,

Has anybody noticed the last time Sean was online was the 22nd of December

I would have thought it would be common courtesy for him to at least make a post as to the reasons for the problems in supplying to his customers what they have paid for, and if they cannot be overcome, where are their refunds.

Also I can confirm there is no special status afforded to traders, but this appears to be a situation that has been allowed to escalate far too long.

It's like Carillion. Why was it allowed to go on for years?

I understand Sean is working to resolve any outstanding customer issues. For the time being we have removed his forum banner and closed his forum shop. This should give him some space to concentrate on dealing with current customers without having to contend with new orders on top.

He has not been banned or restricted from posting from our boards, and I hope and expect him to be on here as soon as he has dealt with those folk that have issues outstanding. It would appear the best way to contact him, is via his email address rather than via the PM system which is [email protected] so please do that if you have a problem which he needs to resolve for you.

Thanks.

I ordered a Navall head unit from Sean on his 4 payment deal last October, it was a Xmas present for myself. So with all the problems he has had it didn’t arrive on time, but Im glad to report it arrived on Monday morning. After reading through this thread I thought i would never see the head unit or a refund. So don’t give up hope.
