Loud exhaust

Hi, just recently purchased a 2.5 v6 conisseur auto but the exhaust is very loud, the previous owner says it's due to an aftermarket back box which has been put on not long ago just wondering if the genuine rover is any quieter if so where do i get original one from. Thanks.

The rover exhaust system is, from memory, pretty subtle. Post up a picture of your back box and I'm sure someone will advise.

As it stands you should be able to swap back to a more authentic system pretty easily

If you compare the retail price of the original exhaust parts with any aftermarket ones, you'll see why nothing compares with OEM noise-wise.
