Nice looking car, but now I'm confused, - Club, with leather interior and electric seats? I thought that made it a Connoisseur? But I have also seen a Connoisseur with cloth interior! This one is an SE, but shouldn't it have cruise control? As there are no badges to tell you which trim/equipment level you have, how do you know? Is there a guide on here somewhere that tells you this? I have seen a very detailed thread with all the details and options described, but it really only refers to model and engine types, but doesn't tell you how to distinguish a Club from a Classic from a Connie, and what distinguishes a Monogram?

This one may have been ordered by it's first owner with a few extras ticked. Club spec with leather seats as an option and also the headlamp washers and chrome mirror caps (assuming they weren't added later). The seats are manual.

there is a guide on here which lists out all the trim and spec levels when it comes to classic, club and connoisseur but personally I've never found a definitive difference between normal and SE models.

The monogram range was a special program which firstly consisted of special paint options such as pearlescent flip paint colours and supertalics, and then later also included optional trim items such as blue, green or red alcantara and seats colour dash panels.

Mine for example is a monogram typhoon ZT, typhoon being the paint colour option, 3 way flip - blue purple and green.

Thanks, Rick-sta. I am sure I once saw a 75 Mk 1 at a 2nd hand dealer with a Connoisseur badge on it, and fell in love with it, but it was a long time ago, and my memory might deceive me. Strangely, it was the same paint and trim as the one I have just bought! Some dreams do come true!
