Default MK1 / Facelift seats.

Been told that there is a difference in above, also there may be a difference in some Facelifts. Need to know before i go looking for cream leather for my Facelift saloon.

The difference between pre and post facelift seats is in the seat backs.

Mark 1 seats have a hard backboard behind them with the optional map pockets as seen from sitting in the back looking forward. The Mark 2 cars have soft, stitched rears and map pockets. The colour should be the same however across the two.

Examples below taken from different coloured interiors but to illustrate the style design finish of the rear seat backs.

Mark 1 with hard backboards (taken from a LWB car)

Mark 2 with soft stitched fabric to seat rears

If you mean bolt holes, airbag connections etc then yes, everything is the same, just the finishing of the seats will be different.

I have MKI seats in my MKII ZT and they were a rightist fit, no problems.
