Yep, both drain holes were hidden under the rubber!!

Technically yes, but as it's on the bottom of the spring, it's a bottom arm.

The ones on my 05 plate tourer were about the same absolutely rotten. The ones on my launch car are almost perfect just goes to show there can be a great difference in the time they can corrode.

Replaced two last week on a facelift registered 2006 both were holed on the side and just to cap it all. captive nut had to be welded back on subframe plus all new brake pipes .rear brake back plates to change before mot on the 26/4/17 fingers crossed
