Default Not all car shampoos are the same . . .

For as long as I can remember I've used Triplewax, "Britain's best selling wash and wax shampoo", though once I tried Eurocarparts own make which I reckon was 99% water. However last week I bought 1L of Simoniz from Eurocarparts for £3.50 and open the cap and you can smell the polish. You must rinse it off properly or it will leave a white film which presumably is the wax, but I'm sure the paintwork is shinier.
PS If Mr Simoniz reads this, you know where I live.

For some unfathomable reason I find Meguiar's Gold Class shampoo seems to leave more of a glossy lustre to paintwork. It also positively reeks in the style of Seventies men's aftershaves.

Meguires anything is just superb to be honest. Head and shoulders about anything else I've ever used

Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Céramique Wash & Wax for me does brilliantly (!) the job.

Cool

I use Meguiar’s products. Let’s face waxes have come on a lot from the early days of Turtle Wax, Simoniz and T-cut.
