Default Tailored car cover.

Has anybody bought or can anyone recommend a good quality tailored breathable car cover for a 75?

Have a look here:

https://www.raceglaze.co.uk/car-covers/page-16

Some are serious £££'s but I have a much cheaper option - a "Maypole" one which has been great.

The products stocked by Race Glaze are usually very good quality.

Good Luck with your search.

Andy.

I've just looked at this, and most are indoor covers (in garage).
The Maypole one though appears to be an outdoor version, and is on offer down from £75 to £47 odd. Presumably for the small size.

Andy, can you remember if yours is small, medium or large, and do you use it for a saloon or tourer ?

Thanks

Mike

Sorry to say that my general advice would be to steer clear. All these outdoor covers promise much, but from talking to many classic car owners over the past 20 years or more, the vast majority report that they cause more damage than they save.

Hi,

It's (I think) a large and now on a tourer but was originally bought for my Copperleaf saloon.

It's almost big enough to completely cover the tourer, just a couple of inches of the bottom of the bumpers shows. It does the whole width.

By all means give Mark a ring at Race Glaze. He'll help you out and knows his stuff.

I have no connection to him, just a satisfied customer.

Happy shopping

Andy.

Not cheap but of very good quality and big enough even for a tourer. And the design is unbeatable for a 75.

Try Hamilton Classics
https://hamiltonclassic.co.uk/collec...rs-all-weather

Tailored to fit Rover 75, five layer outdoor cover. Expensive but very good.

I would think fairly regular removal for a day would help. In my situation it wouldn't be long term or permanent anyway. Thanks for sharing your experience.
