The K16 models (from 2004-on anyway) are also Euro4 compliant. I'd guess the earlier models are too. Anyone else checked theirs?

My 05 CDTI has to pay the charge - doesn't affect me as I never drive into London anyway!

T-Charge for the 75 V8 ?
*** Edit: Ignore this (apparently). See my post below ***
Surprised to see that my 2005 Rover 75 V8 appears to be exempt from the London T-charge. Well I think so. On the traffic-for-London site, I entered the Dutch reg. number and said "Other" for country of registration (the only option other than "UK"), and it took about 1 minute of thinking before it said "OK". I guess that having to comply with stringent Californian requirements, the Mustang GT engine was already designed to pass! Odd that there is no VIN code option or at least make/model/year check possible on the TFL site though? David Last edited by dbt01; 23rd October 2017 at 10:46.. |

Wouldn't be too confident about that David, my 260 isn't. Came as no surprise but doesn't bother me, chances of me driving it in London are nil.

Maybe it means they couldn't be bothered to check foreign cars entering London so are prepared to put the blinkers on !
... or not . Must admit though I thought that the Dartford crossing had gone free-of-charge a few years back. Been over it more than 10 times since, tunnel and bridge, before I found out that it wasn't free! Nobody has ever contacted me. Something about the UK forgetting to sign up to the European exchange of registration number details maybe?? Wow, bit of 150 mph cruising on the M1, here we come! Just put my ztt 190 on 04 plate through the checka and I have to pay the charge. The guy the in the article had a 2001 v6 and passed the checks, so something is a bit off.
