Aftermarker Reversing Camera Kits
Hi one and all, thinking of purchasing an aftermarket reversing
camera kit, all help/advice/recommendations would truly be appreciated. Are they difficult to install? As you know, ever the same. Roy and Rosebud. (Old Man and frail Old Lady). Take good care of each other. |

You'd be better off buying the reverse sensors, which can be fitted front & back, they are very effective.

There's quite a selection on eBay like this
http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item...d=281703151598 It's wireless so perhaps offers the easiest installation option. I can't vouch for any of this kit as I've never used them - but there's plenty to choose from and seem reasonably priced. |

I wired one up to my DD head unit, easy enough to fit, but I ran the wires under the centre consol, which required undoing the seats etc, so took some time... also have reverse sensors. Camera is fine, nice pic, works well... but at the end of the day, I always end up turning my head and doing it the old fashioned way!!

I got my camera for about a tenner here delivered.
You have to be prepared to wait for it to arrive from China. I routed the wire to the DD unit along the side of the car, hidden under the trim and kick plates. I personally think the chrome finish blends in quite well and I am very pleased with it.

The cameras are plentiful and readily available, the decision is what sort of screen do you wish to use to view the camera?
Do you wish just a separate screen on its own or do you want to upgrade your radio at the same time using a double din head unit that incorporates a built in screen ? Let us know and Sean (Radioguy) and myself should be able to assist

Hi Jefff, I was thinking of a reversing camera with a monitor on the
dashboard, but we are open to advice and suggestions. I know a unit in place of the radio would be the neatest, but would it be cost effective? As you know, ever the same. Roy & Rosebud. (Old Man and frail Old Lady). Take good care of each other. |
