FBH - Fooling the glow plug test
Hello all...
This has happened before, and by forcing the FBH to start once at the beginning of the cold season it was fine for the whole winter. However, I can't remember what to do and I've searched lots but can't find the answer. Can anyone help? When starting the FBH I'm getting the timing sequence that indicates the glow plug is failing the resistance test. Previously I have inserted a pin into the glow plug wiring at the time in the sequence where it self tests, lowering its resistance, thus passing the test and firing up. Can anyone advise on the procedure? Ie. What pin and when? Many thanks |
