Yes, been in the house since July 9th. Got the keys June 30th beating the stamp duty dead line by hours. Wife wanted to be an active grandmother and that could not be done from 200 miles away.
Alas there is a lot of making good to do. Workshop/garage about 47 foot long and may be 30 foot wide, Thats' an awful lot of "creosote" . Leaks like a sieve along an 8ft - 10ft wide stretch along the "whole" length. Hoping to get a new roof in October for that section. Pond with some 40,000 litres of water is to go, too risky with a grandchild and the running cost of the pump could be a £1,000 or more a year. Been to the tip every week with garden waste as owners moved out before Christmas last year. About 10-12 trees need pruning but all have TPO's on them. macafee2 |

I hope you both enjoy the peacefulness that Lincoln has to offer Ian, on a recent trip up there I said to Karen I could quite easily get used to the space and the quietness of it, on the down side there’s rough places pretty much like Southampton and any where else in the uk.
A breakfast meet or something like the Kirkby meet will be a place we’ll have to catch up Ian. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
