10,000 years of many millions of American Bison pis-ing,NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD--ing and farting until about 1870ish and all the other wild life activity apart from mans slash and burn over much longer periods and the effects of Ice age progression an recession are not part of the experts considerations. lets all get ready for november 5th. its about time all this hypocracy stopped. lets get ready for bonfires in the garden and all to watch the disgracefull fireworks smoke displays along the thames at new year and across the globe. what with richard bransons milti millionair space flights polluting plus cruise ships and air travel holidays ... where is the common sense to all this . where are the restrictions on hgv polution and trains. all of this polution is offset of course by bullying the private motorist. we are to blame of course we are. !! plastic pollution, animal and insect and bird species dying off, climate change, famines, droughts, floods, epidemics and pandemics all boil down ultimately to over population. it cannot be sustained and as there is nothing that will or can be done about it, the writing is on the wall for future generations. alot of this drive for territory by china is driven by a need to feed billions ... india not far behind. pollute to survive is their goal... for now.

Apparently China produced more steel in the last two years than the UK ever produced since the beginning of the industrial revolution we started. Port Newcastle in Australia ships more coal in a year than our entire production of coal was per annum at our coal mining peak. Most goes to China to feed all the new coal fired power stations they're building. If the UK went back to the stone age, we would just be a blip on a graph. We must get much better at recycling and sustainable practices, but hopefully avoid economic disaster in the process.

Seems the UK will prefer economic disaster via much higher taxation (see latest VED rates for petrol).

Chinese steel was used to build the Queensferry bridge, so much for made in Scotland by girders. A high chance the Queen Elizabeth and Prince of Wales carriers too. Sad

So very true, I remember sitting in class and our dear old teacher had tears in his eyes when one of my classmates asked what would happen to us. He replied that we should all stay calm, and that Mr Macmillan would guide us through. It seems surreal now to think that we were hours away from a nuclear winter that would have made today's climate change hysteria irrelevant.
