Anything on two wheels is fantastic. As for motorbikes I prefer 130-140 kg bikes. A 125 is a bit underpowered, a Honda cb200 is just about ideal for me, I had one in the 70s. I’m going to deep clean and service my new acquisition and tax it from April. I find it’s possible to do a 200 mile day on a 250, whereas a 125 would be too much for me.

Nowt on telly the other night so ended up watching "Closer To The Edge" again, the film of the 2010 IOM TT. Those guys are seriously nuts! I'd forgotten it included Guy Martin's "fireball" crash and Conor Cummins launching himself off the course on the mountain section.

A good start to the season for Ryan saw him finish 9th place in race 1 and 3 and 11th in race 2. good results that had Ryan running as high as 4th and end results would have been better but for some high tyre wear later in the races.

For those interested the next three rounds.... Knockhill 11th-12th July..Brands Hatch 24th-25th July...and Thruxton 31st July-1st August are all being shown live via the QUEST channel so are free to view and you will get about 6 hrs of racing both days..

Hi
Another good solid weekend for Ryan and the RAF Regular and Reserve superbike team with 3 top ten (7th-6th-9th) finishes which has moved him up to 9th in the championship.
Next round Brands Hatch 23rd - 25th July Free to view live on Quest TV..
