I agree lots of things are even worse since Brexit.
Perhaps we could have another referendum on eurovision issue.

Certainly the musical ability within the EU, as judged by what I saw last night, has got worse......

Yet the "experts" on breakfast telly are saying the nil points wasn't political, it was due to the quality of the competition

We should regard zero points as a badge of honour and something to be proud of.

From the same countries that play our music in their bars and are pleading with us to holiday and spend money. It's time to stop being a part of this political UK beating stunt each year and let them fund it themselves.

Perhaps John Terry and Ryan Giggs should enter next year singing

"Save your missus for me"

It seems figures are hard to come by - perhaps not surprisingly given the derision heaped upon the contest by most in the U.K. - but it looks like the cost to the BBC back in 2012 was £310,000 - and ££279,805 in 2009.

So I suspect a heck of a lot more than that was paid a decade or so later.

Viewed as a comedy programme it’s probably worth it.

And if we did pull out - would the contestants be allowed to sing in English? An awful lot of them do.

BOOM BANG A BANG!!

Has eurovision been on then?

As far as I was aware we are no longer in the French club.

Australia competes - none of my friends and family in Oz have the slightest idea why? Nor do they care.

China wanted to compete but they were not allowed. Can’t think why

The Faroe Islands were not allowed to compete either.

I suspect it’s high on Nicola Sturgeon’s agenda tho.
