Morning folks - a pretty miserable one here. Dark skies, heavy showers (including some hail!) and cold. Definitely not conducive to doing anything out of doors. Main excitement of the day is likely to be retrieving the wheelie bin after the bin men have done their job - sad old codger that I am

Morning Phil - my main plan for the weekend is to keep warm - I can't recall a previous April when temperatures have been so consistently low. Whether it's been frost or cold winds from the North/North East, I seem to have spent the whole month switching the heating on - and you know just how much I hate doing that

Morning Phil, I shall be taking out the big cassette filter drawer from the tumble dryer to power wash all the gunged up fluff out of it, it's not getting warm because it's blocked. Then I'm snowfoaming all the Winter muck off the conservatory then doing some gardening.

Having found some used paving slabs for just £1 each I though I would make a start on laying a path across the lawn, first slab laid on grass to be cut around to lift the turf and it starts to bin it down from an almost completely blue sky, now sitting indoors cursing everything and everybody...

Just started raining here now as I'm in the middle of potting up plants outside , Well at least it will wash all the snowfoam off the roof Looks like it's going to be a typical bank holiday weekend looking at the weather forecast,I don't think i'll be needing any sun cream.

Cool

Started really nice this morning, now it’s tipping it down. Had to abandon the gardening.

It's quite bright and dry here.

But we've put the coal boiler back in. Normally it doesn't get going again until October after we've let it out.
