A quick turnaround at the hospital for Debs x ray, I took Meg for a walk while Deb was in, lots of kids sledging and dog walkers on the snowy fields of the university.

Well, said we rarely get lying snow here . . . . made up for that, got 3-4" of the stuff and still falling in heavy showers. Bulk of it fell yesterday. Maya loves it, keeps wanting out

This was yesterday evening, another couple of inches fell overnight. Melting slightly now but heavy showers replenishing it.

There's now an amber snow warning for here. Was further west but been moved to cover here as well.

Taken minutes ago. Need to go out but rapidly going off the idea!

Cool

We had a sprinkling of the white stuff but it then warmed up to 8 degrees. A fellow MG owner a bit further down the county has reported that the wind chill is -7.
Never had wind chill in my day, it was just bloomin’ cold. Anyway the horses used to keep me warm.

Anybody want some snow, plenty going spare here, now between 4 & 5" Managed to nip for some shopping, clear a strip along the path around the house and refill the bird feeders before it started heaving it down again.

Nah I'm good We keep getting flurries then the next minute it's gone. Still perishingly cold though, I've just had a soak in a red hot bath, Heaven

That's me received my first Covid vaccine, no side effects as yet.
I was impressed with the cheerful efficiency that the whole process was run plus the local council didn't charge for the car parking which is unheard of !!
Weather wise we have some rather dark skies above us at the moment but still dry at the moment.
