Very classy for a first car. I wouldn't had been able to run one due to insurance when I was 18. So had a little Essex boy racer Irmscher Edition corsa for a year and a half. Then bought my typhoon ZT a month after turning 20 and was amazed to get a £1200 insurance quote on it. Then dropped to about £800 the next year, as by that point I had 2 years NCB.

My son has started a little part time car cleaning/detailing job so I let him "practice" on my ZT-T, it won't stay this clean for long!
That's come up nice, another fellow firefrost?

I'm just jealous of how those under bonnet mirrors just look amazing on yours. Originally had them done for mine for the NEC and yours wears them better

I had that same splitter on my PBT mkii. Think they really suit Difficult colour to keep spotless isn't it?

Here's mine , feels a bit out of place with all these immaculate examples.
Coming up on 254500 miles and used every day.

This was a great idea for a thread . A terrific reminder of why we love these cars - a bit like a virtual National Meet, and much needed in the current climate .

Default 75 cdti Connie Tourer 2004 - 176,00 so far 100k mine

Hope this has worked.

Soooo many lovely cars. I'm sulking.I've started cruising round Ebay and wondering if I just buy another. I won't. I know the HPFP is new, the clutch and cylinders have done only a few thousand, all the brake lines less than 1500 miles ago. new discs, wheel bearing, hydramount etc.

Particularly annoyed as, having fixed the front end (thanks Marinabrian for tip about Silverllight bumper) I've managed to catch a low bollard and scratched /dented the nearside sill whole length, even the chrome beauty strip has a small kink.

I'll get that fixed when summer comes when I'll also get the, now spare, bumper re-sprayed, swop over the nice new fogs, fit new indicators and the nice shiny headlamps due to arrive from Rick-sta.

Need to do that handbrake job when weather warms up, I'll re-visit Artic's "How To".

JohnnyBG

PS That's not my North Yorkshire house, it's one in Scotland.
