Got a contractor coming out this morning to assess the damage to my house, hopefully they can get on with it without too much delay, I know these companies are busy just now with all the recent storm damage & flooding.

I’m not feeling too bad about it all at the minute apart from 2 things, my beautiful kitchen I had put in just 2 years ago may need to be ripped out, not so much for its own damage as there’s only a couple of bits that the water has attacked but I’m told they’ll need to replaster both sides of the dividing wall, the other thing is my sofa, it’s probably getting on for 5 years old. I've taken so much care of it. Everything else I’m pretty ok with.

Hope it goes ok Col, material goods can be replaced.. bright and cold here and best of all no white stuff.

Wouldn’t be human if you didn’t bud. Just think it as a chance to make even better.

Morning all, haven’t been out yet, dry and bright but looks cold. Don’t start work until 12 today.

Morning all, It's wet out there after last night's rain, We've been getting a deluge virtually every night lately, Greenhouses aren't exactly watertight!

I put a sheet of bubble wrap over the seedlings on the bench just in case of a hard frost and the weight of the water dripping in and pooling on the bubble wrap is squashing the seedlings flat
