Please accept my sincere apologies as I am unable to get to the meet today (Sunday), as I have some family issues I need to sort out today.
I hope those attending have a great time and the weather does the right thing. cheers Maurice |

I enjoyed seeing the main museum and the Malcolm Campbell exhibit. It was nice to meet new and old club members too.
The journey there and back was uneventful. Going there, I took some B and unclassified roads and the 1.8T was very happy with the twist and turns. Coming back, I took more main roads, but still avoided the roadworks at Scotch Corner. The car cruised home nicely. |

Very enjoyable weekend. Any opportunity to visit the Lakes is not to be missed and meeting with other club members adds to the pleasure. Thanks to John for organising and Jan for cake and coffee.

Brilliant day at Lakeland Motor Museum. What a smashing bunch of people you lot are who attended. Good weather and banter. I was in the "non Rover 75" section as well.
