Also this guide or guides would be in a Pdf format so as to be downloadable and printable so as to be more user friendly. Once again, please excuse my forward and rather critical comment, I am trying to ensure that we have a usable guide. |

After careful consideration, I not be doing a guide to toaf after getting a far bit of negative feedback for certain areas. I am more than happy to help anyone using the sporn of the devil sorry I mean TOAF ha ha . Any questions I will answer to the best of my ability .
One big factor in not going a head with the how too is apparently the creatures of TOAF are making a new version with better interface. I am quite shocked at the response I got on this issue, was only ment to help fellow enthusiasts but this seems to be a very thorn in the clubs side. Don't even get me started on the traders pms. Sorry to everyone hope up. But T4 only for this club thread

So sorry to hear you have been frightened off by the big boys. All the more ridiculous when you consider that they are defending a hardware and software system that even the manufacturer has long since lost interest in.

T4 is known and trusted and it will take time for people to get used to and trust something new... there was also the pay for sections versus this forums rules on advertising for profit and it got everything off on a bad foot... Make your guide, offer it up for open testing and take note of comments to help to improve it. After a while you will find as people use it and learn about it without being afraid of catastrophe that attitudes may change... Using T4 the first few times you try something is a little bum clenching too...

That is indeed a shame . I feel quite sure that there are many people on this forum who would have appreciated such a guide , and would have been able to study it intelligently and perhaps then decide to use it .

My thoughts, carry on and do it. How is it any different to any "how to" on here?? Parts are bought and fitted to these cars without trading on here. Do mini (BMW) really trade on here yet there are how to's on fitting their compensator, same goes for poly-flex etc etc......
Do not get frightened off by the bullies, it is not their "Club" anyway. If someone damages their car, well nobody is forcing them to do it, not so?

The only beef any of the traders had with the original TOAF creators and advocates, was simple, if any monies change hands for something on a professional basis, and by that a website set up to receive "donations" for unlocking certain features of TOAF, by definition they are trading I for one am not bothered one bit by anyone wishing to connect TOAF to their car, but at their own risk, something you can mitigate by creation of a "how to" So don't be put off, is all I'm saying Brian |

People in this forum need to realise the software that cannot be named TOAF is here to stay and will be for a long time alongside T4. Even T4 gurus have given it some respect and I think a how to guide for users would help everyone. I hope you change your mind and reconsider. I have been taking notes whilst I have been going through the software on my car. Honestly people need to get off their high horses with this and stop fighting it
