So, despite my repeated requests for a replacement, they refunded me to get decent feedback........... if they had just swapped the unit a week ago I would have given them 5 star feedback. Now, I'm not so sure.

Now, I've got to go through the process all over again to get another one, and hope this time it works !!!
Thats good news you are not out of pocket, you can now go ahead and place another order without any fuss.

At least we know the seller will take responsibility for a faulty product, does not want to inconvenience the customer in anyway... Top marks.

Be interesting to see the response. Will they just send it, query it, or tell me to F-off ?
Well! the seller didn't block you as you were able to re-order. These wholesale operations where seller is based in China and items stocked and sent from UK, this is normally a robotic procedure where orders are picked, packed and dispatched without the sellers input (similar to the huge Amazon warehouse operation).

This will be the reason why seller did not send a replacement, they most probably cant do this. Orders need to be received as initial ebay orders so they get process accordingly via the pick/pack/dispatch robotic operation. The seller will not have any control over issuing a replacement, its easier for buyer to place new order so its in the system.

Looks like the clock problem with the 7021g GPS units is caused by the iGO navigation software changing the time zone in the WinCE software. I found quite a few posts on various internet forums of people complaining of the same problem with other makes of Chinese unit running WinCE & iGo, but I was unable to find a conclusive solution to the problem.

My iGO8.3 nav software also causes the same problem as iGo Primo when run on the 7021g unit where as it didn't on my previous Radioguy WinCe 6.0DD unit. I can only assume that to prevent this happening you would need access to the WinCE operating system itself.

Once I get mine up and running, I will have a look at the clock problem.

My two arrived today, I ordered on 29th Sept from the UK seller, they both arrive today. I've not had quite enough time to swap them over as yet, but here are some pics to get you in the mood. I've updated the bracket mounts, and had to shave a slight half-moon shape into the fascia to allow for the on/off/volume jog wheel.

To those who dont already know, there are two extra loom wires when compared to the 7010B non GPS model, the 7021G has the brown wire for 'Brake Line' and Orange wire for 'High Beam Line'.

I've had a quick play, and the user interface is brilliant, the audio controls and layout are superb. Sound quality and radio reception is even better than the 7010B model. The GPS loads in less than 5 seconds showing current location, fixed on satellites and destination was set in 10. The SD card that comes with the unit is 8GB, the map is iGO9 Primo and takes up 7.5GB of space (its loaded with igo9-USA-CA-EU-MX maps).

One member commented about not being able to access the songs on the SD card Its simple, just select 'SD Card' then the 'Music' tab, and all your songs/albums will appear like magic. The operating system is WinCE, very user friendly, and quite quick for a low end product. The touch screen is extremely responsive, cant fault the unit as yet.

The UK seller listed in Derby UK, products are dispatched from a business address in Hansard Gate, Derby (they arrived packaged like this).

The Product...

Updated Brackets.

The unit and fascia as one unit.

Look how slim the unit is, fits in the dash with more than enough room.

If you can get the fitment correct, it looks OEM.

I had to shape a small half-moon into the fascia plate, this is to allow for the on/off/volume jog wheel. This was done using sandpaper wrapped around a small wooden dowel, it was a delicate operation.
