I have tried to get the tracking number(which was visible on my phone this afternoon), but since the listing is removed, all information I had is now gone. Normally I would do a little digging, regarding location and feedback, but for the amount for what it was, I thought i would take the chance, since the money was already in my bank account, I use for Paypal. What struck me tonight, that I didnt pay attention to last night was their join (eBay) date. April 2015, with only 69 items sold. Yet having up to 30 stereos to sell.

Does sound suspicious, but for I cannot see an issue at the end of the day, if eBay are contacting us, and it doesnt come by the end of August. If it does arrive, and it is as it is supposed to be, well then, bargains all around If not, then eBay will refund.

The number of times I have said to people "There is no such thing as a free lunch" - but here am I having just queued up for one!

It did look too good to be true - Wes even checked it out with ebay

One concern we should have is to monitor the card account used very carefully as my wife once had an issue where after a legitimate purchase - we noticed small amounts of money were being deducted on an ad-hoc basis.

Reported this to the Credit Card provider (Nationwide) and they paid us back and blocked the scammers.

We were told an employee of the company she bought the item from was selling peoples details to the scammers.

In this case I am concerned that this whole thing was simply to get peoples details.

So do keep an eye on the account - may even be worthwhile reporting to the card provider so they can look into it.

Meh! 15 quid, it was worth a gamble as it's a no lose situation. you'll get reimbursed & if you used paypal your payment details are not shown to the seller.

The tracking number I have keeps progressing though the network heading to GB, no news from the seller and no refund from ebay as yet.
