I'm intrigued re your Powerfold comment as I have then OEM on my 75 and I've bought a set from Tam (god bless his soul) to retrofit on my 260. Was there problems on retrofitting ? I am hoping to attend a nano later this year where those that know can hopefully assist. Door removal to fit is beyond me.
Agree with you wheels.

On the subject of powerfolds, I bought some with the loom wiring to retro fit them.

Then saw the thread about the cog gear getting worn over a time and if people wanted the chance of having these cogs remanufactured. I cant remember the outcome but it made me think how easy these parts wear out over time.

Just as well because I would expect the powerfolds to go in and out when I started the car (ie you have to do it manually).
If you forget to put them in and that is the time some **** decides to kick you wing mirror off then that is going to be expensive.

One more thing. I have unfortunately clipped wing mirrors living in the small streets I live in. The manual mirror will just push back a bit if clipping another wind mirror unfortunately happens. With powerefolds I assume it would put a lot of strain on the worming cogs and force them round or not give at all causing a lot of damage and having to look at replacing the cogs once again.

Apologise if I have run on a bit

Love my mods, retrofit or not standard... Powerfolds included, I tuck them in safely when driving in the narrow country lanes on W Somerset & Devon facing oncoming tractors! Next mods to fit... Ammeter, Voltmeter & Boost Guage replacing the Ashtray!

Look forward to seeing them . Can't beat a good instrument display
How about an oil pressure gauge and a proper temperature gauge in the cup-holder slots ?

I went down the powerfold road. Never again
Serpents remind me of "Ben Hurs" chariot

For me a little more His than Hers.
