I wasn't trying to be rude, and it was you who asked the question.
As to why; well you don't need 500bhp to get from A to B, so that makes it unenviromental. Be honest, such machines can really only be used properly on track.

HUGE POWER, from one of our cars...............
Give over.
My grass cutter can outdrag most of them.
The 160 upgrade for the diesels isn't just about the miserly 160bhp, it's also about increased torque and general driveability.
And as for upgrading the rest of the running gear, not needed unless you are going in for track days.

I agree whole hearted. Supposed to be a more mature audience here but it's gone to the dogs.
Thanks for the ones who have been supportive on here but i cba either. Other forums may better suit my interests.
