120 degree.........sounds like the spread of a dipped beam as well.
Still think they're a safety asset? Again, with the risk of repeating, DRL's are a fashion statement not a safety add-on Switch on the dipped beams and you'll have the same effect |

Always a personal opinion, some don't like DRL's and some do... I do! So I fitted a set of Ring units in place of the foglights. Since this pic was taken I have modified the mounting so they sit flush with the front of the bumper.... PS.. they work just as well as the foglights in the dodgy Exmoor mist, and as a bonus, are a bright white light which matches the Xenon headlights. And they do dramatically improve the visibility of the car to oncoming traffic and pedestrians when compared to sidelights, and even the Xenon dipped beams which I guess is why they are compulsory on new cars... (I even agree to a certain point even though I have a different opinion). For me the reason to install DRL's in the headlights was simply because I like the look, and I feel they make the car a little bit "newer". Just a matter of taste really. Some people have wheels on their 75 or ZT that I find very ugly, but as long as they are happy with it, who am I to disagree? It's not like it's putting anybody at risk?
