I presume you mean the manifold if so the something like this below i put one together last weekend for a local member as a swap out Arctic. Use oven cleaner, engine degreaser, washing powder, which ever but make sure you jet wash it all out after 1 make sure all the ports are clear. 2 3 You can reuse the rubber seals. 4 It should look like this inside after a good clean. 5 Add a clean MAP sensor cleaned only with carb cleaner and it is not sprayed into the hole, also do not poke anything into the hole. 6 Fit and bolt up the MAP sensor to the manifold before fitting it to the car. 7 8 9 Last but not the least fit a clean EGR again cleaned with carb cleaner engine degreaser, but not into the vacuum hole. 10 11 Once fitted you can fit the whole manifold EGR etc as one unit. 12

Did this at the weekend, but a couple of the 10mm bolts sheared off when I torqued them up, so be gentle.
Anyone know where I can get new replacement bolts (inc retainers) ? |

Try one of the wheel cleaning brushes. The ones that have all the bristles but come on a wire that loops over with both ends fastened into the handle. The bend out to be one long ‘pipe cleaner’ if you pull the handle off. Worked great for me, let’s you get right into it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Don't worry I did it without a jet washer. It wasn't quite as good as Arctic's but still about 90% better than before I started.
I cleaned it with carb cleaner and scraped and brushed out as much as possible with a flat screwdriver and a toothbrush. I soaked it in very hot water to soften what was left, another brushing with carb cleaner and then draw some stiff wire through the ports tied to a rag to clear as much as possible and then another wash. I then dried it with the wife's hair dryer before she came home from work I refitted it and away I went. I also cleaned the EGR again, which I'd done about 3 months before. The first time it was about 25% blocked, and after being cleaned it was a much better drive and a really noticeable improvement in performance and power. |

Try taking down to the nearest garage jet wash, or the nearest car washes that have sprang up all over the country I am sure one of the operators will jet it out for you.
