Red face Windscreen replacement tomorrow

Bit nervous that some damage may occur to be honest...

Any words of comfort or advice from those who've had this done?

I will ask him to seal the scuttle clips

The rear screen of my LS400 was done a few years back. They were very professional and did a good job.

Worry not - just had mine done by Autowindscreens - first class job done very carefully. Just like new. Refitted rain sensor and reapplied the mounting for the TAG. Could not have asked for more.

Thanks.

Autowindscreens are the company doing the job tomorrow so thats quite reassuring

The chrome trim is the bit that really concerns me.

When I had a new screen fitted to my ZTT it was done by National Windscreens and my ZTT had to go back for the windscreen trim to be refitted. Reason being the original clips needed attention / replacing.

Had mine done on the tourer through Tesco insurance last week, they used a local contractor. After a bit of a nightmare getting him there (Called to a motorway incident when booked... very apologetic) and also Tesco ordered wrong screen, so two false starts.
When job finished, it was quick, efficient and no problems at all.
