CDT Remap advice
Hi guys. Owned my CDT saloon for 7 months now. Was supposed to be a stop gap before I bought my next "special" car, but here I am trying to find a reason to move her on but I just can't. For some reason she's really gotten underneath my skin and I've fallen, hard. Dream to drive on the motorway and I do 70 miles daily. She's on a 53 plate, 47k with full history and all the usual jobs done like clutch and master cylinder replacement. It's been very well looked after, previous owner even had the underside done with rust prevented paint.
Anyway, enough of the gushing. I've decided she's going to be my long term car for the foreseeable future so I'm going to invest in her. As such I fancy a remap. Research tells me that it's worth doing for the MPG and power up you get but some advise getting pipes etc upgraded. Can anyone give me a bit more advice about what I should get and more importantly, who to trust to do the job ? All adivce appreciated. Cheers. |

Had my CDTi upgraded to 160 by a T-4 specialist - made a big difference to the driving experience!
Can't say it did anything to MPG - in either direction, but well worth it and no 'issues' after 18 months! There are several located around the country, just find one to suit... |

BigRuss is not too far from you (60m) and Jules in Conwy/Colwyn is also easily within reach (50m).

Thread moved to appropriate forum. Re-direct left in old. This may be the better forum as things get 'buried' very quickly in the General Forum.

I posted mine to marinabrian, 3 days later a remap ecu arrived, massive difference to drive still no massive urgency in pull but so smooth and can hold the gears longer
