Clean Engine Bay
HI
Tomorrow i have the us of a nice clean warm garage to do a few little jobs but am hoping to give my engine bay a good clean what is the best method and what is the best clening product to use, Once finished would i need to give it some sort of Lacquer to give it thatnew look shine. Any good ideas or what did you use if your engine bays is gleeming clean how about some pics of your clean engine too. cheers Arctic.

meguires do some engine bay cleaner i got it from halfords, although i don't think they sell it any more. use good old gunk, use a soft bristled brush, then use a pump up garden sprayer with the adjustable jet, really good as you can direct the water to parts without having to cover everything in water, the run the engine to dry, and clean off any water marks, shin or silicon spray on black things,

seems it just good old elbow grease needed then any one used autoglym engine cleaner and gunk engine lacquer. what about liquid clay bar.

Used Bilberry wheel cleaner diluted 1 to 10 with water to clean & dressed with 303 Aerospace Protectant
