Default Parking sensor not working and no reverse lights

I have had the car for about 2 months and it has an aftermarket parking sensor kit fitted to the rear bumper, the guy who i bought it from told me some time the sensors were not working when reverse was selected.

So about one month ago it just stopped working altogether but thought i would get it sorted eventually, well today someone pointed out that both my reversing lights were not working.

Checked fuses and bulbs all ok.

With the rear paking system not working would this cause the reverse lights to stop working? and were should i start to look? any help appreciated

Replace the reverse light switch and that should not only makes the lights work again but also feed your sensor system.
