Quite a common problem, chances are that there is a leak in the pipework alongside the battery box that leads to the fuel filter it has a nasty habit of rubbing through.
If so, new replacement pipework is not available. Depending on where the leak is, good used pipework may be required. If there is an FBH fitted the pipework to this can rub through too Russ

Evening all.
My FBH ( with aftermarket remote ) has stopped working. Having tried it a couple of times with no luck I left it today, but went out and found diesel leaking from the FBH exhaust. I've unplugged it for now. Just a bit of a worry. |

Sounds like your FBH is trying to start but failing to ignite.
