Exactly the same as mine Martin, also including folding rear seat and thru' load hatch. In fact if I am reading the serial no. correctly mine was the 100th car off of the production line.

The reg gives it away as a factory car for press/demonstrations. This one has been knocking around for a while now, I'm guessing it is not in the best of conditions to be honest. I enquired about it a while back but silence was the answer. As much as I want an early car if the seller hasn't got the decency to reply then I tend to cop a deaf 'un to them after that.

Ian Robinson offered to go and eyeball it, don't know if he did or not?

John, follow links from www.direct.gov.uk front page, on the Motoring section, to 'Online Services' then 'Vehicle Detail Enquiries' then 'Check Vehicle'.

That can only be described as an outrageous calumny

The DVLA link doesn't work, my link would if only they'd get their act together

Date of Liability 21 03 2006
Date of First Registration 15 02 1999
Year of Manufacture 1999
Cylinder Capacity (cc) 2497CC
CO2 Emissions Not Available
Fuel Type Petrol
Export Marker Not Applicable
Vehicle Status Unlicensed
Vehicle Colour BLUE
Vehicle Type Approval

Looks like the sellers have got a few things wrong, or DVLA has
They almost always advertise without the mileage listed.
I agree with GG things don't add up, nice looking and about the right price, if you where interested I'd go and have a look you will get a better idea of the details, as for face value looks fishy from the start I'd wound not touch it but that my view on this, it may still be a genuine car.
