Default Internal door lock buttons

Is it possible to get decent chrome ones rather than have plastic ones that look like they came out of a Christmas cracker?

Not that I am aware of as they have to be able to go down below the sight line in the door for security. Anyone breaking in can't pull them up when the doors are locked.

Several after market companies such as rip speed do them Zeb and Halfords stock some but you would have to try them. As Mike says they drop right down.

At least she's not IN them (here comes another left hook.... and it scores a direct hit) screens gone a bit fuzzy now.
My mate with the Freelander had looked at fitting different door lock nobs I'll see how he got on with his search.

The ones you can get from halfords etc are screw type ones as far as i know.

And the ones in the 75 are stuck on to the metal rod!

Thats shot that one down in flames then and there is not enough clearance to cover them in anything. Do you think it would be possible to put a thread onto the metal rod Alex or fill the Halfords one's and re drill so they are a tight fit and can be stuck to rod?
